Alcatel is preparing to shake the Indian smartphone segment with its soon-to-launch Alcatel V3 Series 5G, which will go on sale on May 27 at 12 PM IST. The series will feature three models – Alcatel V3 Ultra, Alcatel V3 Pro, and Alcatel V3 Classic – of which the V3 Ultra will be the premium one.

Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G: India’s First NXTPAPER Display Smartphone

The Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G’s largest attraction is its NXTPAPER display, a first for India. This new-age display technology provides a paper-like feel with anti-glare, low blue light, and ultra-clear visuals – made for both comfort and creativity. The screen has four modes dedicated to reading, watching, browsing, and writing.

The V3 Ultra boasts a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and anti-glare finish. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is backed by a 5010mAh battery with 33W fast charging and reverse charging.

On the camera side, the phone has a triple rear camera system featuring a 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. A 32MP front camera serves for selfies and video calls. Storage and performance are managed by up to 8GB (expandable) RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.

Alcatel V3 Pro and Classic: Affordable Yet Capable

The Alcatel V3 Pro and V3 Classic feature subdued specs, both based on the Dimensity 6300 chip. Both have 6.7-inch HD+ displays with 120Hz refresh rates. The Pro comes with a dual rear camera system featuring a 50MP primary sensor, while the Classic comes with a 50MP setup with secondary support. Both have generous 5200mAh batteries but with reduced charging capacities – 18W and 10W for the Pro and Classic respectively.

Additional Features & In-Box Goodies

Besides, the V3 Ultra also has dual stereo speakers, Eye Care Assistant, and support for stylus. Alcatel is loading up quality in-box accessories like a stylus, charger, and protective cover with the idea of providing an end-to-end user experience out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

Though the official prices are not yet announced, the Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G is likely to cost around ₹30,000 in India. The phones will go on sale on Flipkart after the launch.

Final Thoughts

With its NXTPAPER technology and camera-centric strategy, the Alcatel V3 Series 5G is promising to be a serious contender in the mid-range market. Whether you’re a creative professional, an avid reader, or a mobile gamer, this series has something for everyone.
