Two masked men opened fire outside YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav’s house in Sector 57. Imagine sleeping peacefully at home and suddenly hearing gunshots right outside your door — that’s exactly what his family had to face. I can’t even think how terrifying it must have been for them, because they were inside the house when bullets were flying, yet they somehow survived without a single injury.

CCTV Footage Reveals the Horror

The entire firing incident was captured on CCTV. The video, which has now gone viral, shows two bike-borne masked men arriving early Sunday morning around 5:30 am. Within seconds, they began raining bullets at Elvish Yadav’s residence. One of the men leaned over the main gate and continued shooting at close range. In total, over 25 rounds were fired at the house before the attackers fled the scene. The bullets struck both the ground and first floors of the building, leaving behind marks of sheer violence.

Elvish Yadav Was Away, Family Narrowly Escapes

Thankfully, Elvish Yadav was not at home when the shooting happened. He was away in another state for work. But inside the house, his father, Ram Avtar Yadav, along with other family members, were present. They later shared that they were sleeping when the gunfire started and rushed outside only to discover the horror through CCTV. His father revealed that they immediately informed the police, who soon reached the spot, collected forensic evidence, and started scanning nearby CCTV footage for clues.

Bhau Gang Claims Responsibility

Soon after the incident, a chilling post surfaced on social media. Members of the Bhau gang, including gangsters Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya, claimed responsibility for the attack. Their post openly warned that Elvish Yadav was targeted because of his alleged involvement in promoting betting apps. They went further, threatening other social media influencers who endorse gambling platforms with “bullets or calls.” The post carried gun illustrations and claimed that the gang has been active since 2020.

However, police have not yet officially confirmed the authenticity of these claims. A senior officer assured that a First Information Report (FIR) is being filed and investigations are underway to nab the shooters.

A Family in Fear

Speaking to the media, Elvish’s father, Ram Avtar, sounded shaken yet composed. He said, “We heard a sound around 5.30 in the morning. When we came outside, we saw that bullets had been fired here. Then we checked the CCTV and found that there were two people involved and probably a third one too. We informed the police.” He also mentioned that his son had not received any direct threats before the attack, but the entire family is now living in fear.

This incident has not just left the Yadav family scared, but it has also shaken Gurugram. It is not the first time such a gangster-related firing has taken place in Haryana. Just last month, Haryanavi singer-rapper Rahul Fazilpuria was attacked on his way to his village, and that case too had gangster links. The firing outside Elvish Yadav’s house in Gurugram once again highlights how deep-rooted such criminal gangs have become and how unsafe even public figures can be.

Police Investigation Continues

The Gurugram police are now under heavy pressure to solve this case quickly. Teams are analyzing CCTV footage, forensic samples, and possible gang connections to trace the attackers. For now, Elvish Yadav’s family is safe, but the psychological trauma of bullets hitting your home is something that won’t go away anytime soon.
