SSC Glitch: Students Left Helpless as Exams Cancelled at Last Minute

I mean, honestly, I’ve seen so many of my friends prepare day and night for these SSC exams, sacrifice family time, money, jobs – all with the hope of getting a government job. And when D-day finally comes, SSC says: “Exam cancelled due to technical issue.” Bro, really? We travelled overnight, reached the centre early morning just to hear – go home? This is not just an exam. This is about our future, our dignity, our patience.

SSC Phase 13 Exam Cancelled – What Really Happened?

Students protest after SSC Phase 13 exam 2025 cancelled due to technical glitch

The SSC selection post Phase 13 exam 2025, which began on July 24 and was scheduled to run till August 1, saw a complete breakdown at multiple centres. Two major centres – Pawan Ganga Educational Centre 2 and Educasa International in Hubli – reported administrative and technical failures so massive that the commission had no choice but to cancel exams midway.

At Pawan Ganga Educational Centre 2, the exams from July 24 to July 26 stood cancelled due to what SSC called “administrative reasons”. The new dates, as per SSC, will be from July 28 onwards, with candidates receiving information via SMS and email.

Meanwhile, in Hubli, the first shift on July 24 (9:30 AM to 10:30 AM) at Educasa International was abruptly called off due to a technical glitch. And just like that, students were told to return home after spending thousands on travel and arrangements.

Voices from the Ground – The Human Cost of Mismanagement

You know what hurts the most? It’s not just the cancellation. It’s the apathy. A friend of mine took a night train, reached the centre at 6 in the morning, only to be told: “Sorry, exam postponed.” No apology, no help, just a cold notice stuck outside. One student even tweeted: “SSC ne kaha: Technical issue hai, ghar jao!” That one line captures the entire frustration of thousands like us.

Many aspirants were also given centres hundreds of kilometres away from their cities, even in completely different states – and when they somehow managed to reach, SSC said – no exam today. This isn’t an exam anymore. This is trauma disguised in a government order.

New Vendor, New Problems – The Eduquity Controversy

Until this year, SSC partnered with TCS for conducting exams – and honestly, TCS was efficient and professional. But now, SSC has changed its exam vendor to Eduquity Career Technologies. And this change? It’s turned into a nightmare. Yes, the syllabus and pattern are the same, but the interface, centre coordination, and reliability have all taken a nosedive.

Eduquity’s system glitches are not just technical failures – they’re dreams collapsing. Students have begun demanding SSC to bring TCS back, citing their smooth and professional handling of such critical exams.

Anger on Social Media – “Raise Your Voice”

Twitter is now the battlefield for this broken system. Hashtags like #SSCPhase13, #SSCTechFail, and #JusticeForAspirants are trending. From students crying on camera to educators demanding explanations, the storm is growing louder.

One user posted: “SSC has never been able to reform properly. Thinking it will get better is just foolish. It’s getting worse.” Another wrote: “A student spends ₹4000–₹5000 on travel and logistics, only to be sent home like this. Who’s responsible?”

And no, it’s not just about one or two centres. This is a systemic issue now. From centre allocation mismatches to sudden cancellations, SSC seems to be failing its students at every level.

Students Demand Accountability and Transparency

What we’re asking for isn’t much. We’re not demanding job guarantees. All we want is a fair chance, a reliable exam system, and transparency. We’re tired of being pushed around, treated like cattle, and being told “It’s not our fault” when the system crumbles.

We deserve better. If the government cannot ensure basic systems work, then how do we trust them with our future?

SSC Must Answer – And Fix This Now

This whole mess isn’t just a technical glitch. It’s a crisis of trust. The SSC Phase 13 exam 2025 cancelled chaos has left thousands of candidates mentally exhausted, financially drained, and emotionally broken. If SSC doesn’t act now with proper rescheduling, fair centre allocation, and accountability, the damage might be irreversible.
